About "Beatus vir (Psalm 111), RV 597 : Vivaldi: Beatus vir (Psalm 111), RV 597: VI. Andante molto. in memoria aeterna – Allegro (Antifonia). Beatus vir" by Anne Collins
Anne Collins navigates Vivaldi's psalm with a solemn, incantatory grace. The Andante molto unfolds like candlelight through cathedral stone; the Allegro's antiphon answers with a brisk, consoling lift. Memory eternal becomes both elegy and quiet assurance—devotion held in tension with the baroque's restless forward motion.
