About This Song
About "The Slaughter / The Storm Outside the Gym / Margaret Prays" by Pino Donaggio
Pino Donaggio's Carrie suite is a masterclass in dread. 'The Slaughter' shrieks with dissonant strings, 'The Storm Outside the Gym' pulses with adolescent anxiety, and 'Margaret Prays' offers a chilling stillness. It's horror scored with operatic precision, each note a blade.
