About This Song
About "Requiem in D minor, K.626 : Mozart: Requiem in D minor, K.626: Introitus" by Arleen Augér
Arleen Augér's soprano soars through Mozart's Requiem Introitus, a plea for eternal rest. The music oscillates between solemnity and hope, with strings weeping and voices rising like incense. A haunting meditation on mortality, both fragile and resolute.
