About "Ein musikalischer Spass, K.522 : Mozart: Ein musikalischer Spass, K.522: 4. Presto" by Academy Of St Martin In The Fields Chamber Ensemble
Mozart's musical joke turns chaotic in this Presto, where galloping strings and off-kilter harmonies collide. The Academy's chamber ensemble plays with straight-faced precision, letting the composer's parody of ineptitude unfold as a tense, comedic chase—calm virtuosity masking gleeful sabotage.
