About This Song
About "Tárrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra" by Andrés Segovia
Tárrega’s tremolo study becomes a mirage: a single note ripples into a thousand echoes, as if the Alhambra’s fountains were weeping. Segovia renders 'Recuerdos' with aching restraint, each repeated note a memory that refuses to fade. The calm surface trembles with an almost unbearable nostalgia.
