About This Song
About "Cheryl" by Charlie Parker
A Savoy session with Miles, 'Cheryl' is a blues head that struts and smirks, Parker's alto dancing around the beat with mischievous elegance. The tune's relaxed swing hides a bittersweet core—a party where the host keeps glancing toward the door, half-expecting trouble.
