About This Song
About "Anouman" by Boulou Ferre
A Django original filtered through Ferré's nimble fingers—'Anouman' sways like a lantern in a night breeze. The melody's wistful grace is undercut by restless chromatic turns, a Gypsy jazz lullaby that never quite settles, its beauty sharpened by the hint of sorrow.
