About This Song
About "Polifemo : Porpora: Polifemo: Alto Giove, è tua grazia" by Bejun Mehta
Bejun Mehta's countertenor soars through Porpora's Baroque aria with crystalline precision. The strings shimmer like gold leaf on a cathedral altar, yet the vocal line trembles with human longing—a prayer that hovers between divine grace and earthly ache, each ornament a small, breathtaking risk.
