About "The Looner Tune" by Billy Preston
Billy Preston's 'The Looner Tune' is a quirky instrumental romp, clavinet bouncing like a rubber ball in a pinball machine. It's playful, almost cartoonish, but there's a sly tension: the funk is tight, the groove relentless, and beneath the silliness lies a virtuoso's restless energy, refusing to sit still.
