About This Song
About "Lucia di Lammermoor / Part 1 : Donizetti: Lucia di Lammermoor / Part 1: "Sulla tomba che rinserra" - "Verranno a te sull'aure"" by Carlo Bergonzi
A tomb's cold stone frames a lovers' vow, Bergonzi's tenor trembling between devotion and doom. The Donizetti duet unfurls like a ghostly veil, each phrase a whispered promise against the encroaching darkâcalm melody masking a fatal unease.
