About "D. Scarlatti: Sonata in C Major, K. 159" by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
Scarlatti's C-major sonata, K. 159, is a miniature of flashing wit. Michelangeli plays it with crystalline attack, each phrase a spark leaping from string to string—bright, quicksilver energy that never tips into mere display, a tightrope walk of elegance and surprise.
