About "Romeo and Juliet, Op. 64 / Act I : Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet, Op. 64 / Act I: No. 19, Balcony Scene" by Boston Symphony Orchestra
Prokofiev's balcony scene shimmers with trembling strings, a moonlit hush masking adolescent urgency. The Boston Symphony balances tenderness and foreboding, as if every whispered vow carries the weight of inevitable tragedy. Vivid, cinematic, and achingly restrained.
