About This Song
About "Fruit Loops" by Carter Burwell
Burwell finds the unease in a bowl of cereal. A jaunty, looped motif spirals like milk swirling down a drain—bright on the surface, sour underneath. 'Fruit Loops' becomes a metaphor for circular grief, its cheerfulness a thin veneer over quiet desperation.
