About "Slippers" by Carter Burwell
Burwell's 'Slippers' is a deceptively gentle interlude. A simple, repeating motif evokes domestic quiet, but a subtle dissonance hints at unease beneath. It's the calm before a storm, a moment of false peace in a troubled house.
