About This Song
About "Sorry Welby" by Carter Burwell
A lone guitar figure wanders like a figure on an empty street, apologizing to no one. Burwell’s 'Sorry Welby' is a study in restrained regret, its melody soft but unsettled. The music offers no easy absolution, just the quiet ache of words that arrive too late.
