About This Song
About "'Bout to Dance (In My Pants)" by Tony Joe White
Tony Joe White trades swamp haze for loose-limbed funk, a sly grin behind the groove. The title suggests a private jig, all restless hips and unspoken mischief. Warm organ and clipped guitar circle each other like conspirators, capturing the tension between cool restraint and the urge to cut loose.
