About This Song
About "La Wally / Act 1 : Catalani: La Wally / Act 1: "Ebben? Ne andrò lontana"" by Angela Gheorghiu
Catalani's aria unfurls like a lone banner in a storm, Gheorghiu's tone both resigned and radiant. The famous 'Ebben? Ne andrò lontana' becomes a departure not just from place but from self, each phrase a step into fog. Grandeur and grief entwined.
