About This Song
About "Rachmaninov: Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Op. 31: V. Come, Bow" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
'Come, Bow' is a ritual of descent: the choir's voices bend like knees in a candlelit nave, each phrase a step toward humility. Rachmaninov's counterpoint is austere yet warm, the tension between submission and quiet defiance simmering beneath every chord.
