About "Rachmaninov: Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Op. 31: IV. (b) In Thy Kingdom" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The second 'In Thy Kingdom' deepens the ache, as if the same prayer is repeated by a different, older soul. The basses anchor a texture of suspended longing, while the trebles glint like tears on stone—a meditation on hope that knows the cost of waiting.
