About "Rachmaninov: Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Op. 31: XIII. (b) First of All, Remember, Lord" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Memory becomes liturgy: names lifted like candles in a crypt. The choir's plea for remembrance carries a ghostly tenderness, each harmony a thread pulling the past into the present. Calm voices mask a desperate clinging—lest we forget, lest we be forgotten.
