About "4 Motets pour le temps de Noël, FP 152: No. 3, Videntes stellam" by Cambridge Singers
Poulenc's 'Videntes stellam' glitters with modal mystery—the Magi follow a star into harmonic terrain both ancient and startling. The Cambridge Singers navigate its angular lines with velvet precision, each phrase a step into the unknown. The tension between revelation and uncertainty is beautifully sustained.
