About This Song
About "Veni, Redemptor gentium" by The Cambridge Singers
The Cambridge Singers intone an ancient Advent plea, 'Veni, Redemptor gentium,' with candlelit intimacy. The plainchant unfolds slowly, its modal harmonies a quiet tug-of-war between darkness and dawn. A hushed, expectant beauty.
