About This Song
About "4 Motets pour le temps de Noël, FP 152: No. 4, Hodie Christus natus est" by Cambridge Singers
Poulenc's 'Hodie Christus natus est' erupts with incandescent joy—a motet that rings like bells in a stone chapel. The Cambridge Singers attack its syncopations with thrilling clarity, balancing ecstatic proclamation with cool French refinement. The tension between abandon and control makes this a radiant close.
