About "Thugs Passing in the Night" by Carter Burwell
Burwell scores In Bruges with a wry, midnight menace. 'Thugs Passing in the Night' is all shadowed pizzicato and muted brass, a comic-noir tension where the calm of a canal town is undercut by the sense that violence is just off-screen, waiting to round the corner.
