About "My Suicide Your Homicide" by Carter Burwell
Burwell scores a suicide note as a homicide confession—hushed, circular, and suffocating. A lone piano figure repeats like a guilty thought, while low strings smear the air. The tension is between stillness and violence, each waiting for the other to blink.
