About "Shootout, Pt. 2" by Carter Burwell
Burwell’s tense, minimalist score for In Bruges escalates into a jagged, percussive standoff. Pizzicato strings and ominous brass conjure a rainy, European alleyway where violence lurks behind every corner, the tension coiled like a spring ready to snap.
