About This Song
About "6 Variations in F Major, Op. 34 : Beethoven: 6 Variations in F Major, Op. 34: Var. 1" by Alfred Brendel
The first variation of Beethoven's F-major set finds Brendel teasing the theme into new shapesâplayful, exact, lightly mischievous. F major glints like a polished coin flipped in the air: familiar, but each turn reveals a different face.
