About This Song
About "How High the Moon" by Django Reinhardt
Django Reinhardt's 'How High the Moon' is a vertiginous ascent in gypsy jazz form. The melody leaps and tumbles, each chorus reaching higher, yet the minor undertow keeps it tethered. A joyous tension between flight and gravity, where virtuosity feels like breathing.
