About "After You've Gone" by Latcho Drom
Latcho Drom's gypsy jazz swings with bittersweet propulsion, the title's absence rendered as empty chair and cooling coffee. Django-style guitar lines dart like swallows, yet underneath runs a current of loss—the joy of the music shadowed by the ache of what's already gone.
