About "The Seasons, Op. 37b, TH 135: VIII. August. The Harvest" by Barry Douglas
August brings the harvest, and Douglas conjures a piano of bustling ripeness. The music swells with golden momentum, yet a minor-key shadow hints at the season's turn. It's a dance of abundance and anxiety, the grain swaying before the inevitable sickle of September.
