About "Suite from "Porgy and Bess" (Arr. for Brass Quintet): II. Summertime" by Center City Brass Quintet
Brass quintet reimagining of Gershwin's 'Summertime'—muted trumpets sway like humid air over a porch, while the tuba's low hum suggests a storm not yet arrived. The arrangement balances languid warmth with a faint, creeping unease, as if the lullaby's promise of ease is only temporary.
