About This Song
About "Dixit Dominus (Psalm 109), R.594 : Vivaldi: Dixit Dominus (Psalm 109), R.594: 7. Largo - Allegro molto: Judicabit" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Vivaldi's setting of Psalm 109 pivots on a knife-edge: the Largo's solemn hush gives way to an Allegro molto of terrifying judgment. The King's College Choir renders 'Judicabit' not as wrath but as inevitable light—a courtroom of stained glass where mercy and severity share the same breath.
