About This Song
About "Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597 : Vivaldi: Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597: 6. Andante molto: In memoria aeterna/ Allegro (Antifonia): Beatus vir" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The Andante molto opens with a hushed, memorial glow before the Allegro’s antiphonal exchange lifts the text skyward. Vivaldi balances solemn remembrance with dancing counterpoint, the choir moving between stillness and motion like light shifting across a basilica floor.
