About This Song
About "Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597 : Vivaldi: Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597: 9. Allegro: Gloria Patri" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A Baroque 'Gloria Patri' unfurls like gilded light through chapel windows. The Choir of King's College renders Vivaldi's counterpoint with crystalline precision, yet beneath the radiant major key trembles a human awe—the calm of faith shot through with the terror of the divine.
