About This Song
About "Dixit Dominus (Psalm 109), R.594 : Vivaldi: Dixit Dominus (Psalm 109), R.594: 10. Allegro: Sicut erat" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The closing ‘Sicut erat’ of Vivaldi’s Dixit Dominus burns with doxological clarity, Cambridge’s choir lifting a tapestry of counterpoint toward a final cadence. The allegro feels like a sunburst through cathedral glass—assured yet edged with the solemn weight of eternal decree.
