About This Song
About "Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597 : Vivaldi: Beatus Vir (Psalm 111), R.597: 1. Allegro: Beatus vir" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
The opening Allegro of Vivaldi's Beatus Vir is a sunlit procession—bright, confident, almost processional. Yet beneath the choral radiance, a faint tremor of mortality hums. The King's College voices turn blessing into architecture: arches of sound that lift the righteous while quietly marking the shadow of the wicked.
