About This Song
About "Messiah / Part 1 : Handel: Messiah / Part 1: 18a. "He shall feed his flock"" by Arleen Augér
Augér's soprano floats like a shepherd's flute over Handelian strings—pastoral serenity masking a quiet ache of longing. The flock is tended, yet the soul wanders; comfort and exile braid together in this luminous aria.
