About "Messiah, HWV 56 / Pt. 2 : Handel: Messiah, HWV 56 / Pt. 2: 36. "How beautiful are the feet"" by Arleen Augér
In this alternate reading, Augér traces the same line with even more intimate breath, the strings sighing beneath her. The aria becomes a whispered secret rather than a public announcement, its beauty sharpened by fragility. Listen for the subtle rubato, the way her tone hovers between earth and air.
