About "Deck The Halls" by Boston Pops Orchestra
Pizzicato strings prance like footsteps through a frosted hallway, the Pops decking the halls with brisk, courtly charm. There's a mischievous sparkle in the brass, a tension between formal elegance and childlike glee, as if the orchestra is barely containing a holiday grin.
