About This Song
About "Silver Bells" by Boston Pops Orchestra
Silver Bells rings out with glockenspiel sparkle and swooning strings, the Pops painting a street-corner tableau of shoppers and Salvation Army Santas. It's nostalgia as orchestral snow globe: pretty, polished, and just a little claustrophobic, the city's cheer echoing off glass.
