About This Song
About "Requiem, Op. 48 : Fauré: Requiem, Op. 48: In Paradisum" by Choeur De L'Orchestre Symphonique De Montréal
Fauré’s 'In Paradisum' floats like a whispered promise of release, the choir ascending into translucent light. Under Kent Nagano, the Montréal forces balance serene eternity with a faint, human tremor—paradise glimpsed, not grasped. Strings shimmer, voices dissolve, and the threshold between breath and silence feels unbearably close.
