About This Song
About "Handel: Crux Fidelis (after "Ombra ma fu"- Xerses, HWV 40)" by Capricorn
A Baroque aria reimagined as sacred lament, Handel's melody dissolves into Capricorn's adagio glow. Vivid strings trace a cross of light across dark water, balancing solemn devotion with a quiet, unsettling stillness. The tension between celestial calm and mortal ache lingers like incense.
