About "Mitridate, re di Ponto, K.87 / Act 3 : Mozart: Mitridate, re di Ponto, K.87 / Act 3: "Vadasi... oh ciel"" by Agnes Baltsa
A gasp of 'oh ciel' hangs in the air before the music plunges forward. Baltsa navigates this Act 3 recitative with taut restraint, the calm of the delivery belying the emotional vertigo of a world about to shatter.
