About "Mitridate, re di Ponto, K.87 / Act 3 : Mozart: Mitridate, re di Ponto, K.87 / Act 3: "Lagrime intempestive"" by Arleen Augér
‘Lagrime intempestive’—tears out of season—fall like rain on stone. Augér shapes Mozart’s line with a fragile dignity, the soprano’s vibrato a trembling leaf in a storm of regret. The music sighs, and the heart breaks quietly.
