About This Song
About "Symphony No. 9 : Mahler: Symphony No. 9: I. Andante comodo" by Chicago Symphony Orchestra
A heartbeat pulses in the strings, the Andante comodo unfurling like a long, farewell letter. Boulez shapes Mahler's Ninth with chamber-like intimacy, the Chicago Symphony's soloists weaving a tapestry of warmth and anxiety. Here, serenity and dread share the same breath, a tender premonition.
