About "Handel: Messiah, HWV 56, Pt. 2, Scene 1: Chorus. "Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs"" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A choral avalanche of grief, the King's College voices bear the weight of the world. Handel's counterpoint is dense and somber, each entry like a stone laid on a grave. The tension between collective sorrow and unwavering faith pulses through every suspension, a monumental sigh of burden.
