About "Handel: Messiah, HWV 56, Pt. 2, Scene 7: Aria. "Thou Shalt Break Them"" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A tenor aria of stark power, depicting the Messiah shattering his enemies like pottery. The vocal line is tense and angular, the accompaniment a brittle, ticking figure—a portrait of divine judgment that is both terrifying and strangely beautiful.
