About "Ceremony of Carols, Op. 28 : Britten: Ceremony of Carols, Op. 28: Procession" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Britten's harp-led procession opens with a solemn, candlelit march. The boys' voices rise like incense in a stone chapel, their purity undercut by a subtle, unsettling dissonanceâa ritual both comforting and strange, as if ancient faith were flickering in modern shadow.
