About This Song
About "The Holly And The Ivy" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
A traditional carol with a thorny heart. The holly's prick and the ivy's cling become a quiet meditation on suffering and fidelity. The choir's even tone masks a deeper unease: beauty entwined with the memory of winter's bite.
