About "Praetorius: A Great And Mighty Wonder" by Choir Of King's College, Cambridge
Praetorius's motet is a grand, architectural wonder. Polychoral textures stack like cathedral buttresses, the choir's voices vaulting upward in a blaze of praise. The wonder is mighty indeedâa sonic monument that feels both triumphant and slightly overwhelming.
